STARRYWORKS inc.は20周年を迎えました。
時代が変わっても、
ツールや技術が置き換わっても、
私たちはずっと、
図画工作に没頭した子どもの頃のまま、
手を動かし続けてきました。
デジタルとフィジカルを行き来しながら、
自分たちにしかつくれないものをつくる。
音と光がピッタリとうごく気持ちよさ。
理屈より先に思わず身体が反応してしまう瞬間。
『光る音展』は、
私たちが今も手を動かしながら続けている実験や、
つくってみたかった体験、
そして、その過程で見つけた
“まだ名前のない感覚”を詰め込んだ展示です。
On July 7, 2026, STARRYWORKS inc. celebrated its 20th anniversary.
No matter how the times have changed, no matter how tools and technologies have been replaced, we have kept our hands moving — just like children completely absorbed in arts and crafts.
Moving back and forth between the digital and the physical, we create things that only we can make.
The satisfying feeling of sound and light moving in perfect sync. The moment your body reacts before your mind can reason.
Hikaru Oto-ten ("Luminous Sound Exhibition") is an exhibition packed with the experiments we are still conducting with our own hands, the experiences we always wanted to create, and the "not-yet-named sensations" we have discovered along the way.

作品
光と音のうごきが重なり、
視覚と聴覚がシンクロする心地よさ。
鏡に反響し、水に弾み、
植物の影を踊らせる光と音。
異なる物質と現象が互いに作用し、
リズムを刻む。
The intertwining movements of light and sound create a soothing synchronicity between sight and hearing. Echoing off mirrors, bouncing across water, and bringing the shadows of plants to life. Different materials and phenomena interact with one another, creating their own rhythm.

LUMEN
リズムに同期して明滅・変化する光を、鏡を配置した空間で無限に反射させる体験型インスタレーション。LEDディスプレイとハーフミラーを使用した合わせ鏡の部屋の中で、音と光の「中」に入るような感覚を体験することができます。
An installation of light flickering and transforming in sync with the rhythm, reflecting infinitely throughout a space filled with mirrors. Inside a mirrored room made with LED displays and half mirrors, visitors can experience the sensation of stepping into sound and light.

RAY
一鉢の盆栽を起点に、光と影のコントラストによって空間を構築するインスタレーション。有機的に広がる枝や葉は、視点が変わるごとに無限の表情を持つ。その視点を影という形で現し、音とともに時間軸を持った体験として構成した作品。
An installation that creates a space through the interplay of light and shadow using a single bonsai tree. The organically spreading branches and leaves reveal an infinite range of expressions as the viewer’s perspective shifts. Translating these viewpoints into shadows unfolds a sensory experience that evolves through time and sound.

DROP
音に呼応して動く水滴と、それを照らす光によるインスタレーション。水滴は光を集める小さなレンズとなり、位置や形を変えながら、光と影にさまざまな表情を生み出していく。水という身近な物質の中に潜む多様な表情を浮かび上がらせる作品。
An installation of water droplets moving in response to sound, and light illuminating their movement. The droplets act as tiny lenses that gather light, creating a variety of expressions through light and shadow as they shift in position and shape. This work reveals the many facets hidden within water, a familiar substance.

PLANE
光の像が、音に導かれるように幾層ものガラスの間を行き来するインスタレーション。透明と不透明を切り替えるガラスは、ときに光を通し、ときに像を受け止める。音とともに移ろう光と映像の重なりが、空間の中に奥行きと変化を生み出す作品。
An installation of images of light moving back and forth between layers of glass, as if guided by sound. Switching between transparency and opacity, the glass sometimes allows light to pass through and sometimes captures the images. This work creates depth and variation within the space through the shifting overlap of light and imagery in response to sound.

SLIT
壁の隙間から差し込む光を、音や人の動きに合わせて変化させるインスタレーション。音とともに変化する光の強弱や動きが生み出す表情と、人の動きに追従する光から感じる見えない存在の気配を通して、光そのものが持つ多様なあり方を探ります。
An installation of light streaming through gaps in the walls, changing in response to sound and human movement. Through the expressions created by the varying intensity and movement of the light in sync with sound, and the sense of an unseen presence conveyed by the light that follows people’s movements, this work explores the diverse forms that light itself can take.
